Learn About CBD Wellness
Fyr Flower is dedicated to sharing factual and educational information about CBD, Delta 8, Delta 9, THC-O and other legal cannabinoids. We want to educate our community and provide helpful resources, whether you’re shopping online or at our boutique in Denison. Learn the basics of CBD and how it works, find resources for additional learning, and get answers to some of the most frequently asked questions about CBD.
When a new customer walks into the boutique, we like to first ask them why they stopped by… We can learn so much more in the why than we can in the what. You may be new to CBD, but your journey to get here may have been long and winding. We are here to help.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol. CBD is a natural compound found in the cannabis and hemp plant. CBD does not cause any psychoactive effects and is mainly used for its potential therapeutic uses.
Will CBD products get me “high”?
No, CBD does not cause any psychoactive effects and will not get you “high”. Legal CBD products do not contain or contain less than 0.3% tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, which is the main psychoactive ingredient in cannabis.
Are CBD products legal in the United States?
CBD is legal at the federal level in the United States as long as it’s derived from hemp plants that contain no more than 0.3% THC. All of the products for sale at Fyr Flower meet these standards.
Is CBD safe for everyone?
CBD is considered safe for everyone, but we cannot offer medical advice. CBD can interact with certain medications, and pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult with a healthcare provider before using CBD products. If you are taking any other medications or have pre-existing health conditions, it’s always best to consult with your doctor to ensure CBD is appropriate for your specific situation.
